QUIKSILVER - Product and trends - 2years collaboration - France

 

My first working experience was in this company in 2008. I was really impressed by the great work rhythm. I was at that time assisting a designer on the creation of a few watches for men at the Quiksilver Headquarter of Saint Jean de Luz in the south of France. I was roughing and still learning my tools on the Adobe Suite.

 

They thought i was doing well since they hire me again in 2009 for 4months, first as an intern then as a freelance for 5months. I had the occasion to devellop the whole eyewear collection for 2010.

 

I have been asked to work on both sunglasses and optical eyewear. It was the occasion for me to test my skills on some softwares such as Illustrator and photoshop then later on on solidworks. I had to get used to make technical files and worked closely with the engineer. The main concern for this collection was to follow the next trends and try to be ahead for our trendy and sportive customers.
